A Day with Phillip Day – The Maximum Health Workshop

Standard

Today I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a fascinating seminar by one of the world’s most experienced health researchers.

As a volunteer at a local charity (Together Against Cancer, who commit to informing the public about natural, ‘alternative’ forms of healing and wellness), the request for help at the event was sprung on me at the last minute. I’d already do anything for the centre – it’s run by such an inspiring, amazing group of people who are so knowledgeable and committed to what they do – but having read some of Phillip Day’s work, I was never going to turn down this chance.

And oh my, what a Day.. For 6 hours (which flew by) he covered so much, that it’s still kind of digesting in my system (no pun intended). This included, but certainly wasn’t limited to how:

  • We live in a completely false reality, from food to education to news reports
  • Sickness is bigger than war, and is the biggest business on earth
  • Between 2000-2015, pharmaceutical drugs have killed more people than World War 1 and World War 2 combined
  • Since 2000, 16 million Americans have died as a result of the effects of chemotherapy, not cancer itself
  • Being ‘cured’ of cancer is actually defined as survival after 5 years of initial treatment
  • Most diseases and ailments are metabolic, i.e. caused by a severely weakened immune system/ unhealthy gut
  • Chemotherapy and radiation destroys your immune system
  • Vaccines at birth serve no purpose and in fact do more harm than good
  • Type 2 Diabetes can be reversed in as little as 7 days
  • A plethora of ex-medical professionals are becoming whistleblowers to the twisted and inherently murderous medical system
  • Big Pharma are desperately trying to silence Day and other organisations who are making this information public

Did you know it’s actually illegal in the European Union to state that food is key to curing and preventing disease, and that drinking water cures dehydration? Call me stupid, but that’s some pretty insane logic.

It’s absolutely mental how governments and society convince us to doubt the wisdom of our senses. And to trust in doctors, who have zero nutritional education and are trained by pharmaceutical companies, literally just to push drugs in an attempt to cover up symptoms and zombify the masses.

Probably even more worrying than the sinister set up and power these organisations have, is what Day calls ‘cognitive dissonance’ – that being, wilful ignorance by we, the people, and a refusal to question anything.

We’re raised in a culture where we’re convinced from day 1 that doctors are the fountain of all knowledge, that pharmaceutical companies want to help us (why on earth would they ever offer us cures, when that would mean the immediate halt of cash flow?) and that our government is acting in our best interests (despite the fact they’re also endorsed by those same companies).

Day highlights the importance of diet and nutrition in preventing and reversing disease through 5 simple principles:Image result for campaign for truth in medicine

  1. 80% plant-based made of organic wholefoods
  2. 60% raw (80% is even better)
  3. Keep animal products under 15%
  4. Eliminate all refined sugar, wheat and dairy
  5. Adopt an intermittent fasting/autophagy regime

He also delves into the structure of the human body on a much deeper, cellular and energetic level, discussing the intricacies of DNA and the information we store. It was mind-blowing stuff and certainly gets you thinking (an amount more than already being contended with!).

He takes time to cover the array of vitamins and minerals we need to function, where to obtain these and how best to prepare the body to absorb and utilise them.

This is literally only scratching the surface of the presentation, and this summary serves only to inform, remind and reassure us that there are other ‘crackpots’ discussing and promoting alternatives to what we’ve been programmed to believe about our health, longevity and life on earth in general.

But as always, I urge you not to take my word as gospel (I’m sure there’s no risk of that) and to do your own research. If something about this resonates with you, don’t stay stuck in cognitive dissonance – we live in the age of information, and were incarnated at this time for a reason. Use the power of the internet and all the knowledge that is offered to find that which you are seeking.

Don’t know whether to trust the weather.

Standard

Wherever we go, as humans we always seem to discuss the weather in social situations.

“Hot today init?”

“Yeah Nan, baking.”

“I prefer to be cold, me. Can’t be doing with the sweatiness.”

The reason we reference the weather so much is because it’s literally the pinnacle of our survival and existence on Earth.

How we utilise sunlight and fresh oxygen for example, is so important. So when in the UK we go from chilly and rainy to (years overdue) 34°c in the blink of an eye, our bodies respond as such.

We need more hydration, more calcium to absorb the extra vitamin D from the sun, more protein for us to replace the  fat shed while basting in the heat or sweating on the sofa. Just as examples.

Sunbeams creeping in

If one was raised in a relatively sunny climate (or spent enough time in one), the body would adapt to the heat, the skin would gradually build a healthy natural tan (instead of burning like a lobster as many Brits do), etc.
If one is raised in coldness such as in places like Iceland, again the body adapts to such temperatures and grows to its potential in that climate. Iceland interestingly happen to have one of the ‘healthiest’ population in the world.

Here in the UK we tend to jump from.one extreme to another, and I believe it takes quite a toll on many of us. With such rapid change, the body is constantly trying to adapt from one state to another. And with the poor western diet followed by many, it can cause havoc on our bodies and minds, and sometimes serious health issues.

Which is why it’s so important to follow a constant, healthy diet. And coincidentally why a simple vegan diet works so well (I won’t adapt here, I promise this one isn’t about the v word.!.vegan). Anyway. A diet that is part of your lifestyle, and not about losing weight (although there’s nothing wrong with getting trim; excess weight isn’t generally ‘healthy’).. one that becomes an easy routine, which you can rely on to get you through everyday. Then when the weather shifts from ice valley to dry earth with just a heartbeat in between, you’re always energised, strong and ready.

Butternut squash, chickpea and spinach curry w/ cumin rice and gram flour tortilla

Vegan pon road.

Mother nature (and the universe generally) never cease to amaze. And the way we use the sun to fuel us, growing each new cell and shedding old skin is just another part of that.
I suppose the point I’m making is that, depending where one is on Earth, we could potentially evolve into different kinds of humans. I could go to Costa Rica and become a bronze beauty, to Iceland to get lean and strong, to India and be a happily shrivelled yogi.

Endless possibilities for infinite consciousness. All influenced by the God that is the Sun…… I felt they both needed capitalising.

Doris; she belongs to my housemate and thrives each year.

I’ll leave with thoughts of sweet, home grown strawberries. Peacee

There’s nothing like a good independent documentary to get you riled on a Tuesday evening. Happy ChooseDay

Standard

Today has been another one of those days.

Witnessing the reactions and repercussions of choices made.

So on becoming vegan, I’ve sort of rewritten my future. Just to give one recent example, I’ve been to three BBQ’s in the past two weeks. With my new dietary requirements, I’m now in a position where I need to prepare and bring my own food (with enough to share, of course). This has been somewhat of a ‘deal’ at all three BBQ’s, not unsurprisingly.

I’ve found being a vegan at a BBQ (at these particular gatherings) was like how being the sober person in a nightclub can sometimes feel; like nobody really knows why you’re there; and they’re certainly not interested in sharing your sinless concoction.

Anyhow, had I not decided to turn vegan the past two weeks, and had shown up with my standard spicy chicken skewers, much of these experiences had played out slightly differently.

Then tonight I watched the documentary,  Cowspiracy. And wow. Just wow when the universe flows so perfectly. (Although we try our best not to doubt ourselves), when one feels the confirmation, the knowing that the choices you’ve made are the right ones, it feels amazing.

Just to sum up Cowspiracy – basically animal agriculture (that’s everything meat-industry related, including rearing and feeding animals) is the biggest cause of deforestation. Erm, we are destroying Mother Earth by choosing to eat animals.

Not only that, but this information is purposefully kept from the public. You don’t even see animal agriculture listed as one of the biggest issues on ‘environmentalist’ websites such as Greenpeace. When it is in fact, having the biggest impact on our planet.

And… we’re destroying land for the purposes of raising animals to sell for food for richer people… in countries where other humans are starving.

The logic. I cannot comprehend.

So yeah, I’m embracing being vegan. I’ve also had a lot of number synchronicities lately, including the 33’s telling me my path is true.

Had the tastiest vegan dinner so far today

Even if I do have to be the awkward twat at BBQ’s and weddings (also got two of those coming up, I’ve had to again be an inconvenience and change my dietary requirements.. 🙈), it’s all worth it.

I can live in peace knowing I’m not contributing to the constant suffering of animals or the rapid destruction of the planet.

And then it’s make some waves… who knows what amazing changes will come about? But they’re bound to happen, all the same.

Peace and love everybody

Good morning, merry Wednesday and viva la revolution.

Good morning, all. It’s time to wake up!

Good morning to the doctors and Lawers who support outdated ideals. No more will we accept toxic pharmaceuticals or unfair judiciary. It’s time to wake up.

Good morning to the police forces the world over. You don’t need to be tied to a totalitarian book of rules any more. Fuck the system. It’s time to wake up!

Good morning to the actors starring in daily TV news reports.. you don’t need to put your fear faces on any more, we already know how dark the world can be. It’s the time now to leave the screen and join us reporting on REAL news. It’s time to wake up.

Good morning to the soldiers all over the globe, fighting for false honour. Everything you’ve been told is a lie. Drilled into your mind to convince you killing other humans is acceptable as a form of national security. We don’t need national security, we need love spread around the globe, and no need to fear one another. Terrorism is not a job, despite what your wage slip says. It’s really time to wake up.

KIDS! …you woke up to make it to school. Now wake up a little more: the public schooling system is built as a form of control and indoctrination, in order to mould you into a functional economic slave, perfect to continue contributing to a failing monetary system that ONLY benefits the wealthy, and will never offer ease of living to working (or middle) class people. Stand up. They only teach you how to remember (their) facts and pass (their) exams, in order to enter (their) world of work.. to make more money for them.. It’s time to wake up!!!

Religious ministers… you already woke up when you found God. But was it enough, or did the specifics of your religous teachings conveniently distract you from the real Love, and that we are all God? If not, please continue to spread the word that all religions are based on the same principal and that is to love yourself and one another, unconditionally. If you’re still teaching the specifics of one lone religious sect, it’s time to wake up. Religion serves to divide us, when it should bring us all closer together. Wake up and help others to do the same.

ALL OF YOU, in your office, warehouse, sales, accounting, retail ‘jobs’… YOU’RE ALL HEROES AND ALL WORTH MORE THAN THAT. You were not born to spend half of your life working a job you dislike for barely enough money to get by. There is enough money in the world.. knowledge, resources AND technology for us ALL to live comfortably. Not one of us need suffer any more.

But first we all need to be awake to the atrocities carried out everyday by a miniscule amount of elite who sit at the top, frantically catching their overflowing cash bags before they drop down to us below. An elite who make sure we live in a backward society, where THINGS ARE LOVED AND PEOPLE ARE USED. A system which serves to fuel hatred and division, suffering and darkness. We need to first realise this, then we can shake up the system. And dismantle it. Then we can rebuild on the basis of love, compassion and altruism.

World. It’s time to wake up!!!

Love is the most intense energy in the universe. It can throw us back and forth, hurling us in its hurricanous vortex, beating us side to side. And then it can take us in an opposing gentle touch, soothing us outwards, cradling us as we float peacefully in its enthralling midst.

Love can burn and it can soothe. But we can’t choose who we love. And that is never anybody’s fault, in any instance, no matter what circumstances that feeling may have grew of.

Though we can make decisions that direct us in the more likely direction of love, in the form we most desire. We can make moral choices, about the paths we take. Finding love in the most truest and faithful means is a love that cannot be compared. A love so honest, and real.

Waiting for love and looking for love are essentially one and the same, the only difference being that true love will find us when we stop looking for it.

I hold a lot of love right now. Some of which may be being returned to me, in different ways to what I might have imagined. Though I do believe it is of equal measure.

Love is extremely powerful, I suppose the most powerful energy in the universe. And I LOVE it.

I also still hold a lot of love for this pancake. See how the chocolate melts in the middle?

Raspberry, blueberry, golden syrup (naughty- I was on holiday) and melted chocolate.

Just fold and roll. Cut in half and voila.

Wanna see it again? There you go. Man, I could eat that right now.

Peace out lovers.

A Little Wednesday Hope

Standard

It’s one of those times again- for the past week or two I’ve felt my mood dropping as I let myself succumb to the negative vibes around me.

Last week I cried at two Facebook posts I saw- one of a puppy who’d had his leg chopped off and been dumped by a river, and another of a bunch of drowned regugee children washed up on European shores.

If we’re to overcome the darkness in the world, we need to stop letting ourselves be consumed by it. My experience tells me if I cut out the negative places like Facebook and newspapers, I feel so much more at peace.

But it’s easier said than done. As much as I hate seeing such heartbreaking atrocities, something inside me says I need to consume them, in order to retain the fire inside me which it ignites. The fire to INFORM one and all about the way our world works and can be changed for the better.

There’d be less amputated, abused dogs if we all learned (or nurtured) compassion. And less (or no) dead children washing up on our beaches, if governments didn’t bomb the shit out of other countries, or supply them with weapons with which to blow each other up.

I understand everything in life is about balance. But I’m really struggling to find an equal par between withdrawing myself from the horror, and spreading knowledge and light to encourage a change in the world.

All I can do is keep on fighting (I’m a natural keyboard warrior), because that’s what I incarnated on Earth at this time to do. I remain faithful that somebody will be influenced by my words.. of love, hope, peace, unity and oneness. Just by reading this you feel me just a little, so I guess I’m already on the way in my mission. And I hope that itself helps you achieve yours 🙂

A simple, well-paid job

I use the term ‘well-paid’ loosely, since we all know most of the population are underpaid in the grand scheme of the world…. shat on by greedy bankers and slave driving corporations who’d have you work for free if it were legal…

But in terms of my situation in comparison to other remedial jobs out there, I’m extremely fortunate and I know this.

I earn above the minimum wage, in a warm environment with its own duck pond outside. I’m able to feed myself daily and keep a roof over my head on less than 20 hours a week (just).

I have the option of buying shares at a reduced cost and thus making money back from a greedy corporation. Amongst other perks of working for a multinational.

I understand I’m a hypocrite, supporting the structure of everything I despise. But I’m grateful for the CHOICE.

I’m grateful I’m not in danger where I work. I’m grateful I have fantastic people around me when I’m there. And I’m grateful for all the different people I get to speak with and build relationships with… cos sooner or later there comes about a special one, with which a bond is formed and although we never see each other or likely speak again… We leave a mark on each other.

The last customer that made me feel this way, said I’d “restored her faith in humanity”, and that was a real blessing.

One love.

Good friends.

Today I’m glad to have such a fantastic group of peers. We’ve known each other for many years now and have developed strong bonds.

The power of positive energy being transferred and exchanged between humans willfully and gratefully is extraordinary. Today, I honour the universe and my Self as One, for providing me with such rich experiences of love and friendship.

Peace out

I believe in the universe and the light that encloaks it. I believe in all that is good.. thus, all that is god.

I believe love overcomes evil.. and therefore overcomes the d-evil.

I believe in the power of human intention, the capacity to ‘create’ at free will, any world we imagine.

I believe in compassion, and the shared desire for mutual respect.. the simplest of actions, and expectations . I believe we all want the same thing.

Peace, an existence free of suffering. Easily obtainable if we can all simply remember and realise our potential.

May all beings be released from suffering. May we all emit love and light to infinity.. and beyond.☆
