It’s that time of year again. The happiest, hardest, saddest and somehow most positive day of the year.

Not 9/11. Christmas, of course. 25/12. People flock to shops in hoardes in a desperate struggle to fulfil the seasonal requirements. Children foam at the mouths at the sight of novelty wrapped objects under a tree, idle hands clawing at paper edges.

This year I’ve stepped back and nurtured the tree instead. But consumers still seem a long way from realisation. Though I have a lot of faith in the new generations. Revolutionaries!✌️👊

Enjoying the winter solstice.. That happens to be the moon shining extra bright tonight. Looks like a star atop the tree.
